Corey A. Tavel is the Managing Attorney and Member of Smith Mazure's Executive Committee. Mr. Tavel received his law degree from Touro Law School and his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and Connecticut for both Federal and State Courts.

Mr. Tavel has particular experience in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Appellate Practice, Claims Management, Construction Accidents, Excess Risk Claims, General Liability, Insurance Coverage Litigation, Lead Paint, Mold and Toxic Tort Litigation, Municipal Litigation, Premise and Security Liability, Products Liability and Transportation-related Accidents.

A frequent lecturer and author, Mr. Tavel is well versed on topics relevant to New York practice such as primary vs. secondary coverage, reducing risk litigation, no fault, soft tissue injuries, vicarious liability,and other issues.
