Alan Sclar is a member of the firm. His practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, complex commercial and corporate litigation, negotiation, appellate litigation, and other civil litigation. He has represented a wide variety of clients in numerous appellate matters in the Second Circuit and the New York appellate courts. Alan has handled appeals involving legal issues in far ranging areas of the law, including corporate litigation, general torts, environmental, insurance, products liability, professional liability, construction defect, labor law and transportation. An expert negotiator, Alan has attained most favorable results for the firm's clients on both litigation and transactional matters. Alan combines his legal talents with numerous business and political relationships to provide insight and vision to the firm's clients.

Alan is a former judicial clerk and prior to his legal career, a legislative aide to a prior New York State Speaker of the House.
